« Crystal ball for restaurants | Main | Mac 'n' cheese with a kick » Tuesday, December 19, 2006My gift to youI'm not sure what it is about recipes that foodies can't get enough of (include me in this group, btw). In the gym, I see many people carrying the latest food magazines. I hear all the time about cooks finding recipes in books, on the web, getting one from a friend. Some people take them into the kitchen and others are just reading. Yes, I know the old line about reading cookbooks like novels before you fall asleep.
So here's my gift to you this year: I asked the Food section contributors who were writing about holiday stories to bring back as many recipes as they could find. I knew perfectly well that they wouldn't all fit into tomorrow's food section. But they'll be online, starting tomorrow (Wednesday). There are seven baking recipes, six Italian fish recipes, and more (sorry, no partridge in a pear tree). If you're really cooking or just reading, go to boston.com/ae/food, click on the "printer friendly" button and have a grand time. Posted by Sheryl Julian at 12:29 PM
