Saying farewell to Richard Dyer

Theatre critic Louise Kennedy hosted a party last night for the Globe's Living-Arts Department to wish retiring classical music critic Richard Dyer farewell. Tributes were sent from Seiji Ozawa, John Williams, Keith Lockhart, and James Levine.

The buffet held delectable spare ribs and pulled pork from Blue Ribbon BBQ, a favorite of Richard's, some appetizers and famous cookies from Vicki Lee's, including deliciously chewy ANZAC.

We all toasted Richard's grace and genius.
