Handicapping the restaurant review

chang.jpg

Today, the blog Eater has a guest post from New York chef and ramen guru David Chang (above), who runs Momofuku and Momofuku Ssam Bar and was named one of Food & Wine's best new chefs last year. Ssam Bar opened in the summer, and New York Times critic Frank Bruni's review of it is expected to run tomorrow. Chang's Eater post guesses what Bruni might make of his new place (it specializes in what is essentially a Korean burrito) and anticipates Chang's own reactions to the various possibilities. It's funny, and an interesting restaurateur's-eye view on what it's like waiting for a review to come out.

You can read it here. Warning: Chang uses a few words we wouldn't be able to print in the Globe.
