This is World Vegetarian Week, and three local restaurants are doing their best to make going meatless sound absolutely delicious. The Fireplace's three-course prix fixe meal ($33) features a tomato goat cheese and caramelized onion tart with sweet pea and roasted garlic risotto, plus dessert. Café Fleuri offers pasta fagioli soup ($9) and a classic imam bayildi ($20, above) - tender baby eggplant with herbed couscous. Pho Republique's two-course prix fixe ($22) starts with edamame-bok choy pot stickers or sugar snap peas with sesame soy and ginger, followed by pineapple-tofu Kung Pao or vegetarian red coconut curry with jasmine rice.
