We’re going to start calling our spouse “miel,’’ which means “honey’’ in French. We will, that is, until we get tired of spelling it and explaining that we’re not referring to his love of food (no comment). Quite à propos is Miel’s “Honey Tasting Dinner,’’ a four-course feast and wine pairing on the waterfront lawn of the InterContinental Boston to celebrate National Honey Month. The menu includes bee pollen crusted chicken roulade with honey roasted walnuts. Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m., rain or shine. $70 (reservations required). Miel, InterContinental Boston, 510 Atlantic Ave., Boston. 617-217-5151. www.intercontinentalboston.com
