Disney rose $.71 or 2.6 percent, to $28.33.

NY Times fell $.07 or .9 percent, to $7.91.

News Corp rose $.34 or 2.5 percent, to $13.85.

TimeWrn rs fell $.18 or .6 percent, to $29.98.

Viacom rose $.17 or .6 percent, to $30.34.
