NY Times rose $.13 or 1.4 percent, to $9.12.

News Corp fell $.07 or .5 percent, to $14.68.

TimeWrn rs fell $.11 or .3 percent, to $31.80.

Viacom fell $.05 or .2 percent, to $32.47.
