Eighteen-year-old Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber's album "Believe" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart in June. The music video for one of his singles from the album, "Boyfriend," has garnered almost 200 million views on YouTube. "Believe" was his fourth to hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts in a 2½-year span, setting a new record.

Bieber found time in his busy schedule to sign overnight star Carly Rae Jepsen to his record label, School Boy Records, in 2012.
