Finding Nemo tracey frederick, Boston, ma The Life of David Gale Casey, Charlton Best: Return Of The King, Mystic River, Seabiscuit Worst: I try not to go to bad filmsPaul, Kingston This discussion begins and ends with 'LOTR: Return of the King'. I am not even a big mythology fan, but the conclusion of the series just has to win a Best Picture Oscar, and if it doesn't the academy will be bombarded with bad press from fans and critics for not recognizing it. Whether or not you enjoy this type of movie, the cinematography, the acting, the special effects, the musical score, the storytelling is all top-notch near perfect. The first installment was robbed in 2002 when the overhyped overrated 'A Beautiful Mind' won. Don't let those Emerson College wannabe filmmakers fool you that 'Lost in Translation' or 'American Splendor' should win Best Picture. If ROTK does not win, it will be the biggest travesty since Miramax bought the award for 'Shakespeare In Love' over 'Saving Private Ryan'. Michael , Somerville, MA Best - Gigli Jennifer Affleck, Hollywierd, CA Lord of the Rings' Return of the King is the best film of 2003 while Gigli is the worst film of 2003.... Lori, Malden
