'The Apprentice' finale"The Apprentice" ended last night with a victory for Bill Rancic, the street-smart 32-year-old Internet entrepreneur. He ended up edging out competitor Kwame Jackson to win a "dream job" working Donald Trump. But, did the best man win the contest? Tell us what you thought of the show's outcome.
Page 1 The right guy absolutely won. Do you really think Kwame could handle building a skyscraper in Chicago after not being able to stand up to Omarosa? Julie, Brighton Absolutely! Donald Trump is looking for a leader, not just a manager, and Bill is both. He has the energy to motivate his employees, and the organization to keep his project on track and deal with problems along the way. Congratulations Bill! Joanne, Quincy I think so, Trump and his co-horts keyed on the fact that Kwame chose Omarosa and that came back to bite him. Even worse was Kwame's decision to assign her to managing "the talent" which was arguably the most important assignment. She might have been told to screw w/Kwame but he should have seen through it and reassigned her. Bill on the other hand did a great job, perhaps frantic at times but nonetheless he pulled it off. Michelle, South Boston In Donald Trump's empire he has only .001% minorities, so did the 'best man" win, or did Donald make his choice 16 weeks ago? TJ, Chelmsford No way... They both had weaknesses but Bill seems too stuck on himself. Kwame ruined his chances by not firing Amarosa... She was an obvious plant. NO ONE is that IGNORANT!!!! John , New England I think Bill is way too high strung to really run a project like Trump is putting him in charge of. On a professional level, I don't think anyone can stand someone who micro-manages. And Bill is guilty of this in the extreme. Clearly, I'm no Donald Trump, but I think Kwame's "cool-under-fire" demeanor would be a more valuable asset. Kwame's downfall was to be saddled with Omarosa. She cannot be trusted and appears to be poison to anyone she is around. Anthony, Boston Yes, Bill was the right man. Ultimately, Kwame's decision to hire someone like Omorosa was what lead to his downfall. She is too much of a liability, and frankly, I cannot see any company in need of her services: dishonesty and incompetency. Megan, Boston QUAMI WAS THE BETTER CANDIDATE...AMAROSA RUINED HIS CHANCE AT BECOMING THE APPRENTICE...IF SHE HAD BEEN ON BILL'S TEAM THE OUTCOME WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH DIFFERENT BOBOB, WORCESTER Bill was the best one. I thought Amy was second best, going back to maybe the 2nd or 3rd episode. It was nice to see him win. This was a show you didn't have to be embarrassed to watch. Tim, Boston I think it should have been Kwame. Bill stresses too easily and might as well not have employees if he is going to micro manage every little thing! Kim, Manchester, NH
