Return to TVWith the revival of FOX's animated sitcom "Family Guy," Boston.com wants to know what other cancelled TV series you would like to see returned to the air.
Page 1 "That's Life"....with Paul Sorvino & a great cast......it's too bad that it wasn't on the WB channel -it might have had a longer life (thank God that MASH & Mary Tyler Moore aren't on now...they'd be booted in about a week) --- the main channels cancel anything that has any intelligence or wit......I've decided that as the television screens get wider, the shows get more stupid....how many more "reality" shows can we stand? I'm continually astonished that these stupid shows stay on the air more than one week....what's the Springsteen line (or was it Billy Joel) about so many channels and nothing on!!!!!!!!! Barbara Lynch, Saugus Ally McBeal Kelly Bonen, Boston Freaks and Geeks Patrick, Winchendon Sports Night - smart and funny with a great cast. Probably the best writing in a half-hour show. D. Green, New York, NY I'd love to see Freaks and Geeks, Futurama, and Andy Richter Controls the Universe back on the year. Time for smart, good comedy to make a comeback! christa, boston I would like to see the T.V. show "Fastlane". It was a great show, with good comedy, action, and the costars had a good chemistry together. Ryan O'Connor, Rockland Late World with Zack, which aired very briefly on VH1 a couple years ago. It was hilarious and completely underrated. I don't think the VH1 audience quite "got" Zack's absurd humor, which was unfortunate for the rest of us who did. Alison, Somerville Firefly, by far. By the DVD's, watch the movie when it comes out. Maybe FOX will realize they made a bonehead move (again) and bring it back ck, everett 1) Sports Night 2) Freaks and Geeks kim, boston Sports Night.... Great show... great cast... never understood why it got canned in the first place. George, Boston
