Return to TVWith the revival of FOX's animated sitcom "Family Guy," Boston.com wants to know what other cancelled TV series you would like to see returned to the air.
Page 21 ANGEL!!! WB just announced they will be canceling Angel (the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off) despite its achieving pretty good ratings and having a rabidly loyal fan base. This will bring the end to the Buffy-verse - bummer. Kristan, Wilmington There are several like: 1) Sports Night 2) Firefly 3) Once and Again 4) Now and Then 5) Diagnosis Murder 6) Mysterious Ways 7) Twilight Zone (w/ Forrest Whitaker) 8) Cedric the Entertainer 9) John Doe 10) Miss Match (It hasn't been on since the new year) Sylea, Malden SHAZAM!!! e They have to bring back FIREFLY. It was the best Sci-fi show on TV in twenty years. Damn that FOX! Jeff Niford, Los Angeles, CA You Can't Do That on Television I miss Lisa Ruddy, Moose, Barth and Alanis Scott, South Boston Bad Cats Tim, Fitchburg Bakersfield P.D. Jason, Cambridge Mystery Science Theater 3000, Monty Python & Kids in the Hall. I have a very twisted sense of humor! :) Tara, South Boston "The Tick" (the animated series on FOX) "Firefly," as Joshua from Allston explained rather well. (hmmm, I sense a theme here... ) Angel generally, I wish networks weren't so anxious to cancel shows. Plenty of old favorites took awhile to hit their stride. Even M*A*S*H got a sluggish start... Plus, I'd like to see some of the british imports (that TLC loves to adapt) make it to our shows unadulterated. "What not to Wear", "Coupling", etc... why do these get re-made, watered down, and generally trashed when they come stateside? AJ, Weymouth Freaks & Geeks and Once and Again. Those were 2 great shows!!!!! Bring them back!!!! Shary, Lawrence
