I love to spend St. Patricks day at the Blarney stone pub on Dorchester Avenue, food is delicious and there's always great Irish entertainment, dancing etc.

We also frequent the 21st Amendment bar on Bowdoin Street near the State house in Boston for the best Irish potato soup you will find outside Ireland.

It's gotta be at Nick O'Neills, a fine old authentic Irish pub in Downtown Holyoke!

Good friends, good music, no pretensions!

I will be working because my PM is mean and says that I am too old to be out drinking. I am only 39!!! Thanks Karen!!!

I go to the Black Rose to see Sunday's Well. The Joe the fiddle player rocks!!!

Leave it to the Boston Globe to portray St. Patrick’s Day as a celebration of stupid white males drinking too much beer in honor of the Irish (even though the holiday is uniquely American). Be sure to include the prerequisite picture of an inebriated Southie, a quiz on Celtic heritage that nobody from Ireland could answer, and as many references to drinking as possible.

The ever-vigilant PC Globe would never commit such stereotypic gaffes while marking a diversity occasion. Irish need not apply!
