I am very proud of my Irish heritage and call myself Irish-American, but on St. Patrick's Day, I try to forget about how trashy the day is. It's just another excuse for losers to get drunk in the morning, and exclude different kinds of people from their parade. And if you really look at who celebrates it, their collective IQ wouldn't add up to my shoe size (which is 10 1/2).

I like cabbage and potatoes though!
