Where do you spend St. Patrick's Day?Whether it's spending the afternoon at the Black Rose, gathering with friends at your favorite pub, or settling down with family for a hearty Irish meal, we wanted to know your favorite place to spend St. Patrick's Day. So if you're looking for something to do today, here's where our users will be. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Page 8 I'll be spending St. Patty's Day in Phoenix, AZ at Rosie McCafferies on 7th St. and Camelback with a group of 20 fellow New Englanders, ringing in the day of the Emerald Isle with a Guiness and a plate of corned beef and cabbage, spreading good Irish and Red Sox cheer. TJ Doton, Greenfield, MA Go get a quicky at M.J. O'Connor's at the Park Plaza. The day has gotten a bit trashy over the years with it's real meaning ( a celebration of St. Patrick and Irish culture) being lost. Conn, Charlestown Home. No need to go out on amatuer day. There's no need to ruin your shoes from getting puked on by someone who only drinks once a year. Josh, Newton Tell Karl from norwood not to be so closed-minded. Her family roots in America cannot even go 5 deep whereas mine and every other Irish person can go a lot lot deeper...and there's a good chance she has Irish roots. So stop being so ignorant and arrogant and enjoy a day of celebration for one of the nations with the longest and greatest history in our world........ It's people like this person who spoil the spirit of the day. Paddy, Cork, Ireland AT WORK!! :( Jim BOSTON CELTICS GAME:) Carley, Boston At home painting the garage. This should not be any kind of holiday or celebration. It's just an excuse for fake Irish people to go out and drink, then throw-up on other people. This is the reason South Boston will always be considered third class. Colin, Quincy
