A dinky misfire with a heavyweight cast, “Girl Most Likely” stars Kristen Wiig as a failed Manhattanite forced to move back to her hated childhood home on the Jersey shore. There her floozy of a mom (Annette Bening!) and vaguely backward brother (Christopher Fitzgerald) share a shack with a cute boarder (Darren Criss of “Glee”) and mom’s sleazy boyfriend (Matt Dillon), who may be a CIA operative code-named George Boosh. (That’s the funniest joke in the movie.)

It means well and everyone appears to be having a good time, but so many things are wrong with the film, from a limp script to slack editing that leaves entire scenes hanging.
