Charlie Brown, Snoopy goof around in ‘Peanuts’ trailer

On a day chock full of family-friendly movie news (can you say live-action “Little Mermaid”?), Fox released its trailer for the upcoming “Peanuts” movie, featuring the world’s most famous cartoon boy-and-dog duo.

Charlie Brown and Snoopy pair up in the minute-long clip, and although we can’t pick out a plot or anything remotely close to one, we have a feeling this will be a box office smash when it debuts on Nov. 6, 2015.

Why? First, it’s going to be in 3-D. Second, it will transcend generations. From Baby Boomers (and their parents), down to Millennials and their children, there’s something for everyone (from what we can see).

Peanuts creator Charles Schulz wrote the last big-screen Peanuts picture, 1980’s “Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown”, and although he passed away in 2000, his son, Craig Schulz will produce the new feature.
