If you’re a Millennial, chances are you had to read “The Giver” in school at some point in time. Think Jeff Bridges can pull off the bearded look of the titular character (as seen on the book cover)?

Well that’s what you’ll get in the Weinstein Company’s film adaptation of the sci-fi thriller, coming out Aug. 15.

If you haven’t read the book (or completely forget the story line from ages ago), here’s a quick rundown: Jonas, an adolescent living in a perfect world, is offered a gift by The Giver on his 12th birthday. After becoming the community’s Receiver of Memories (forget the puppies and kitties he knows), he quickly realizes that there is no turning back to his former utopian existence

Joining Streep, Bridges, and Thwaites are “True Blood” stud Alexander Skarsgard (Jonas’s father) and former “Dawson’s Creek” starlet Katie Holmes (Jonas’s mother).

Oh, right — and Taylor Swift (Rosemary).
