Bullock, Fraser Taking 'Crash' Course

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Sandra Bullock, Brendan Fraser, Matt Dillon and Ryan Phillippe are dashing into "Crash," which is due to begin shooting Monday in Los Angeles.

Also on board for the indie project, which is described as being in the style of "Pulp Fiction" and "Traffic," are Thandie Newton, Larenz Tate, Nona Gaye and rapper Ludacris. Don Cheadle was previously announced as a cast member.

The film follows a multiethnic ensemble through the streets of Los Angeles as they careen in and out of one another's lives. Other actors are expected to be announced shortly.

Paul Haggis will direct from a script he wrote with Bobby Moresco.
