We liked it so much the first time

Hollywood can't seem to give us enough movie versions of '70s-era TV classics, including "The Mod Squad," "S.W.A.T.," and "Charlie's Angels." Now there's "Starsky & Hutch." Some survive the transition better than others, but here are a few we'd really like to see.

POLICE WOMAN: THE MOVIE
Halle Berry stars as Pepper Anderson. She's undercover in the LAPD's Criminal Conspiracy Unit, and suddenly her dancer-scientist boyfriend (Djimon Hounsou) is missing. Now, finding him means posing as a stripper, a prostitute, and a plastic surgeon with a Harvard MBA. Joining her frantic search is Billy Bob Thornton as Lieutenant Bill Crowley and Queen Latifah as tough-as-nails Detective Jo Styles.

MANNIX 2005
Detective Joe Mannix (Johnny Depp) tries to solve the murder of an ex-tennis pro turned rap diva turned hip-hop fashion designer (Queen Latifah). Mannix shoots people, smashes up his car, and smokes a lot, all while trying to figure out who has kidnapped lady love/secretary Peggy Fair (Beyonce) this time.

GOOD TIMES: A DYN-O-MITE WEDDING
J.J. (LeBron James) is getting married -- to Henrietta (Lil' Kim)! In addition to figuring out how to pay for the wedding, Florida and James (CCH Pounder and James McDaniel) want to know why suspended Michael (Lil' Romeo) is saying the SAT is racist. The stress becomes too much for Florida, who has a nervous breakdown that lands her in the hospital. Will she get out in time for the ceremony? And what on earth will Willona (Queen Latifah) wear?

THE WALTONS' SIMPLE LIFE
John-Boy (Orlando Bloom) enters underdog Blue in the cross-country mule race, all for the love of the new girl in town (someone we've never heard of). Grandpa (Michael Gambon) inspires doubtful John-Boy with memories of his old mule victories. With Miranda Richardson as Livie, Tom Wilkinson as John Sr., and Daniel Radcliffe as Jason, who turns the household upside down when he brings home two special friends (Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie).

SANFORD AND SON MAKE IT FUNKY
Lamont (Mos Def) finally leaves the family junkyard business and buys a disco, despite the fact Fred (Cedric the Entertainer) has faked another heart attack. But Fred keeps trying to find ways of getting Lamont to come back home, including an attempt to clear out theyard to start his own nightclub. With Dave Chappelle as Grady and Queen Latifah as Aunt Esther.

HAWAII FIVE-O: BOARD STIFF
After a young man is found murdered, detectives Steve McGarrett (Willem Dafoe), Kelly Chin (Lucy Liu), and Dana "Danno" Williams (Queen Latifah) uncover a ring of surfer sex slaves for lonely housewives, two of whom (Angelina Jolie and Lil' Kim) have been using the dudes once, then destroying them.
