Fearsome acting, great direction make 'Memories' memorable

The only unfortunate thing about ''Memories of Murder," a terrific serial-killer romp from South Korea, is that generic name. It does nothing to convey the bristling exuberance, go-for-broke acting, and top-notch craftsmanship driving this picture, which is playing at the Brattle through Monday. (Full article: 587 words)
