Globe Correspondent / April 10, 2008

April 11
Was he keeping up or selling out? When jazz icon Miles Davis (left) went electric in 1970, the move was greeted with adulation and outrage. Murray Lerner's insightful 1987 documentary intersperses interviews with Carlos Santana and Herbie Hancock with footage of Davis at the Isle of Wight Festival. Lerner will be present for a discussion after the screening. 6 p.m. $9, $8 seniors and students. Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington Ave., Boston. 617-369-3687. mfa.org/film
