Harold Lloyd, a silent film star known for doing dangerous stunts (including hanging from a clock tower), will be celebrated this weekend at Mirthquake, a silent film festival in and around Manchester, N.H. Tonight at 7 at the Franco-American Centre (52 Concord St., Manchester, $5), you can see "The Kid Brother" (right), a movie about a man (Lloyd) who rescues his father. On Saturday at 7:30 at the Red River Theatres (11 S. Main St., Concord, $10), you can see "Speedy," about a youngster (Lloyd) who fights gangsters. On Sunday at 7 at the Palace Theatre (80 Hanover St., Manchester, $5), you can see "Safety Last," the film that has Lloyd hanging from that building. A schedule - including free daytime screenings - is online. 603-624-6094. mirthquake.looserthanloose.com
