TV: Absolutely Fabulous, Complete series

Darling, sweetie, break out the champagne and throw away the Slim-Fast. "Sex and the City" looks like wholesome comedy fare next to the antics of fashionistas (and fashion victims) Eddy and Patsy who romped through London in a haze of smoke and alcohol fumes in the BBC series that ran from 1992 to 2005. The "Absolutely Everything" DVD set includes all the episodes and four hours of extras, covered with a silver quilted cover. Old Girls Behaving Very Badly, Indeed.

Rap: Lil' Kim / Ms. G.O.A.T. (MONEY MAKER)

The groundbreaking female rapper and Notorious K.I.M., who served a short prison term for perjury and exited jail in a Rolls Royce, releases a 2007 mixtape with her slash-and-burn bombast undimmed. Even after time in the "can," she "still made money," she exults in one of the 23 cuts that include a remix of a Britney Spears song and a shoutout to other female rappers (as well some taunts). Kim, who won a Grammy for her contribution to the cover of "Lady Marmalade" from the soundtrack of "Moulin Rouge," wants all to know she is still the queen bee.

VIDEO GAMES - RACING

Kawasaki Snowmobiles, Wii (Destineer)

The white stuff may gone for the season, but gamers can relive winter pleasures with a race along the virtual tundra on a virtual machine with motion-based controls that accounts for players of all skill levels. Features include two-player split screens. Players may increasingly challenge themselves via the "championship" mode, "time trial" mode, and the wipeout wonder of "stunt" mode.

BOOKS - NONFICTION

Panic in Level 4: Cannibals, Killer Viruses, and Other Journeys to the Edge of Science, Richard Preston (Random House)

Why scare ourselves with ghosts or vampires when we can really get freaked out with parasitic insects and Ebola? In a series of essays, New Yorker contributor Richard Preston ("The Hot Zone") probes curiosities like the "self cannibals" who (and if you haven't finished breakfast, go no further) are compelled to chew on their own flesh due to a DNA anomaly and two computer-whiz brothers who built a monster computer in their apartment.
