'Father of the Bride'

Wedding season wouldn't be complete without a beautiful bride, and Elizabeth Taylor (right) fills the bill in Vincente Minnelli's delightful satire from 1950. Much better than the tepid 1991 remake, this version features Spencer Tracy as the addled father and a nightmare sequence straight out of German Expressionism. 6 p.m. Free.
