Hancock or Deckard
If Will Smith's "Hancock" isn't doing it for you as a July Fourth summer blockbuster, you may be better off spending this holiday-weekend Saturday at the Brattle Theatre, which has brought back "Blade Runner: Final Cut" for another run. The 1982 film by Ridley Scott, which was re-released last year, shouldn't disappoint, with Harrison Ford (above) as Deckard, a detective who must save the world from powerful androids. It's actually a bit like Smith's 2004 summer blockbuster "I, Robot" - but much, much smarter. The Brattle plays "Blade Runner" through Tuesday. Today's shows: 2:30, 5, 7:30, and 10 p.m. $9.50. Brattle Theatre, 40 Brattle St., Cambridge. 617-876-6837. brattlefilm.org [Meredith Goldstein]
