Technically, Charlton Heston was in two versions of "Planet of the Apes." He starred in the original in 1968 and was nice enough to take on a cameo role in Mark Wahlberg's less popular remake in 2001. Tonight at the Boston Harbor Hotel, you can see Heston in the original film, which, of course, is about an astronaut who finds himself on a planet ruined by monkey business. It screens outside as part of the hotel's Movies by Moonlight series at the Intrigue Cafe. Dusk. Free. Boston Harbor Hotel, 70 Rowes Wharf, 617-439-7000. www.bhh.com
