Before school starts (you're counting down the days, aren't you?), the Lower Mills Branch of the Boston Public Library screens one last film as part of its summer movie series for families. Tonight, you and your young ones can see "Ratatouille," the popular Pixar production about rats, humans, and cuisine. The library says you're more than welcome to bring your own snacks (whether it's ratatouille or popcorn) to the screening. 6 p.m. Free. Lower Mills Branch Library, 27 Richmond St., Dorchester. 617-298-7841. www.bpl.org
