Nationwide, moviegoers will be watching "The Women" to see if they can spot any men. (They won't be able to.) In Massachusetts, the real sport will be catching the local landmarks posing as New York, Connecticut, and Maine. Here's a sampling of real locations and the fictional movie locations they represent.

Newbury and South streets, Boston (exteriors for New York streets).

The Prudential Center, 24th floor, Boston (Sylvie's office).

Private residence, Dover (Mary's Connecticut house).

Tremont Street residence, Boston (Crystal's pied-a-terre).

Saks Fifth Avenue, Boston (where Crystal works at the perfume counter).

Salon Fontana, Boston (double for Saks salon).

La Perla, Boston (where the ladies shop for lingerie).

33 Restaurant & Lounge, Boston (where Mary and friends dine).

Maxwell's 148 restaurant, Natick (site of Mary and mother's lunch).

Bosse Sports, Sudbury (Sylvie's gym).

Bullough's Pond, Newton (bench where Sylvie has a talk with Mary's daughter).

Radius Specialty Hospital, Roxbury (where Edie gives birth).

Chickatawbut Road, Blue Hills Reservation (interior car scenes).

Camp Leslie, Georgetown (ashram).

Annisquam Lighthouse, Gloucester (near Mary's mother's beach house in Maine).

Warehouse, 322 Summer St., Boston (multiple sets and scenes).
