'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'

"Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" is the second installment in the Indiana Jones series, but since it's a prequel, it's really where Indy's adventures began. You can see the hatted hero in "Doom" tonight at the Mattapan Branch of the Boston Public Library, which is showing the entire Jones series on Tuesdays throughout the month. Next week, it's "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," and on Oct. 28, it's "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." 5:30 p.m. Free.
