The Ruff Cutz Indie Film Conference kicks off tonight with a party at the Skellig. It will be your chance to mingle with film buffs and Ruff Cutz guests, some of whom are actually pretty successful in the film world. Panelists for the weekend program include Eduardo Sanchez, who co-wrote and directed "The Blair Witch Project," and Michael Corrente, who wrote "Outside Providence." We recommend taking time to check out Sunday's film screenings, which include a short comedy called "Extreme Yoga Smackdown" and a feature-length B-list spoof called "Attack of the Slime People." There's a full schedule and ticket prices online. Tonight's party 6:30 p.m. $10. Skellig, 240 Moody St., Waltham. 781-647-0679. www.rcifc.com
