The day before Thanksgiving turns most thoughts to turkey and pigskin, and it's a good time to consider one of the greatest Ivy League football games of all time. Forty years ago, two undefeated rivals met on the field, the subject of Kevin Rafferty's film, "Harvard Beats Yale 29-29," a title taken from the famous Harvard Crimson headline. The documentary features Harvard alum Tommy Lee Jones, who was a lineman in the match up, archival TV game footage, and interviews with players from both '68 teams. Pictured: Yale captain and quarterback Brian Dowling in 1968. Today at 5, 7:15, and 9:30 (Through Nov. 27). $9.50. Brattle Theatre, 40 Brattle St., Harvard Sq., Cambridge. 617-876-6837. www.brattlefilm.org
