An expensive purse that everybody wants? A pivotal scene that involves a succession of frocks and stilettos while a chipper pop song plays in the background? Look closely, and there is a formula behind fashion-forward hits such as "Sex and the City" and "The Devil Wears Prada." It's not surprising that the newly opened "Confessions of a Shopaholic" incorporates many of the same devices as its cinematic sisters. With a "Sex" sequel set to begin filming this summer, we'll be seeing much more of the formula. Here's a quick look at the couture of big-screen success.
