Once upon a time there were two guys named Dave Sawyer (left) and Will Luera who lived lives of crime by robbing stores, banks, and country clubs. Eventually, the two morphed into Matt Damon and Don Cheadle, and made a bundle as film stars. The real story is that the first pair is a couple of funny guys from ImprovBoston who star in “Oceans 2,’’ a concoction of scripted and improvised prequels about all the other “Oceans’’ films. 8 p.m. (Fridays through Aug. 28). $16, $12 students and seniors. ImprovBoston, 40 Prospect St., Central Square, Cambridge. 617-576-1253. www.improvboston.com
