A GOOD WOMAN
(Comcast Movies: Free Movies) Oscar Wilde’s “Lady Windermere’s Fan’’ updated to the 1930s and minus the acute social observation, which is like remaking “Gone With the Wind’’ without the Civil War. Helen Hunt gives a brave and foolhardy performance as an aging high-society husband-stealer; she gets the amorality and the hidden panic but she’s still too nice. Costarring a surprisingly drab Scarlett Johansson. (PG; runs through Oct. 19) TY BURR
TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES
(Max on Comcast) Arnold Schwarzenegger is back to protect John Connor (Nick Stahl) and a veterinarian (Claire Danes) from another terminator sent from the future. Schwarzenegger looks as good topless as any Abercrombie and Fitch male-bait. The movie can be as monosyllabic as its star, as long as it moves at a fast pace, which it does quite well. (R; runs through Oct. 31) WESLEY MORRIS
THE MONEY PIT
(Encore on Comcast) Tom Hanks and Shelley Long play the frenetic owners of a handyman’s dream in Richard Benjamin’s comic view of home ownership. Although not as funny as the setting suggests, it’s better than most of this year’s frail comedies. (PG; runs through Nov. 2)
