Another visitor to Toronto
You know you're heading to a movie town when the in-flight entertainment on Air Canada includes a category called "Avant-Garde'' -- and that's not even the channel showing Guy Maddin's "Brand Upon The Brain''!
I settled for "30 Rock" instead, figuring I'd get my movie dose on the ground. Globe arts editor Scott Heller here, joining Ty and Wesley on the blog for a couple of days. It's my 12th time to this festival, so the drill is familiar: bleary eyes, lousy food, wolfpacks of the opinionated, delivering their verdicts as soon as a screening lets out.
