There’s been quite a kerfuffle over “Black Swan” on EW.com and elsewhere in recent days, with cast and crew sniping back and forth about how much of the film’s dancing was actually done by Natalie Portman. (Not a whole lot, contends Portman’s double, American Ballet Theatre soloist Sarah Lane.) There go those accursed studio marketing types, suppressing truth yet again. Or not? In a funny bit of issue-deflating timing, “Black Swan” hits DVD today – complete with unplugged production glimpses that offer a casually forthcoming look at Portman’s face being digitally grafted onto a stand-in’s twirling body. Look for an example at the featurette’s 40-minute mark, and another a couple of minutes later – it’s crazy stuff.
