The torrid anticipation for the July 20 release of "The Dark Knight Rises" has hit a fever pitch this week, with Warner Bros. releasing new Batman clips and a final trailer.

On Tuesday, the final trailer before the film's release hit the Internet, stringing together story lines from "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight." It also caused comedian Patton Oswalt to chip in with his own commentary.

That same day, Gary Oldman, who plays the newly-minted commissioner, appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" with the first clip from the film.

Wednesday, Morgan Freeman went on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," debuting a clip featuring Freeman and a cane-wielding Christian Bale.

Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway, who plays Catwoman in the film and is already being buzzed about for a spin-off, appeared on "Live With Kelly" on Thursday, bringing yet another clip.

That evening, Hathaway appeared on the "Late Show with David Letterman" with a different clip, while the host may have accidentally let slip a tremendous spoiler.
