Weekend movie preview - July 20
Make way for "The Dark Knight Rises." That's exactly what the big studios are doing this week by not releasing a single competitor. Meanwhile, we get a few smaller foreign releases, but truly, this week belongs to Batman. To prepare for the final chapter in Christopher Nolan's caped crusader's trilogy, check out premiere photos, video from the premiere, and a round up of new clips from the upcoming film.
"The Dark Knight Rises" (PG-13)
We know this movie will be big, but just how big? How much will this movie rake in? And will it beat "The Avengers" record-setting debut weekend?
"The Day He Arrives" (NR)
South Korean Hong Sangsoo's twelfth film follows a film professor to Seoul for an unexpectedly long, strange trip.
"Trishna" (R)
Freida Pinto of "Slumdog Millionaire" fame stars in this British adaptation of Thomas Hardy's novel "Tess of the d'Urbervilles" about a young woman torn between her upbringing and wider opportunity.
"Unforgivable" (NR)
This French thriller focuses on a crime novelist with a turbulent past and new marriage.
