Campus Moviefest
Campus Moviefest is a week-long moviemaking event that culminates in a student film festival, where student filmmakers will compete for over $50,000 worth of prizes.

Students are provided with all the materials they need: digital camcorders, training, and Apple laptops with movie-editing software. While they get just one week to film and edit their work, they are encouraged to brainstorm beforehand.

Seven schools are participating in the Boston leg of the Campus Moviefest world tour: Boston College, Northeastern University, Tufts University, Emerson College, Boston University, and MIT.

The top 16 films from each school, selected by a panel of students, faculty, and CMF staff, will be shown on their respective finale nights. These selections (all 96 of them) will be considered for the Grand Finale. The top 16 from all of the schools will be shown at the Boston Grand Finale on Saturday, April 21, at the Colonial Theatre. Here, another panel with filmmakers, musicians, and two representatives from each university will select the winners.
