Oh, how Abigail Breslin grows before our eyes. First a nerdy beauty pageant star, now the star of the maiden movie in the "American Girl" behemoth. Breslin plays a 1930s lass having adventures while her father (Chris O'Donnell) is away trying to save the family house from foreclosure. The cast includes Joan Cusack, Stanley Tucci, and a monkey.
