Chuck Norris: Karate Champion Many people don't know that Chuck Norris was a karate champion - about a million times. According to his Web`site, chucknorris.com , he won the World Professional MiddleWeight Karate Championship in 1968, and held that title until 1974 when he retired, undefeated. In 1968, he was inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame as Fighter of the Year. In 1977, he was elected Man of the Year. He is also a karate teacher, and his students include Bob Barker and Donny Osmond. That is not a joke.
