Happy Birthday Barbara Stanwyck
Barbara Stanwyck, whose 100th birthday is July 16, had one of the longest and richest careers in Hollywood history (she died in 1990). Her career was pretty photogenic, too.
One of her earliest films was "Baby Face" (1933), in which she plays that classic Stanwyck type: a woman from the other side of the tracks who uses her beauty to get on the right side. (Warner Brothers)
