Holiday movies, the naughty and the nice

Curious what films to watch this holiday season? Hoping you don't choose a flop? Don't worry. Boston Globe movie critics Ty Burr and Wesley Morris have made their lists, checked them twice, and they've determined which films are naughty and which films are nice.

Find out how Ty and Wesley rank "Babes in Toyland," "Home Alone," "A Muppet Christmas Carol," and more than 20 other films fit for the holiday season. The movies are split into two camps. “Naughty” means “unusually irreverent” or just plain-old bad. “Nice” means naïve, classic, or heart-warming.
