Hairspray
(2007)In the remake of John Waters's 1988 musical film "Hairspray," the perfectly-coiffed mother-daughter duo Velma (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Amber von Tussle (Brittany Snow, center) have holier-than-thou attitudes toward the other dancers on The Corny Collins Show — especially newcomer Tracy Turnblad (Nikki Blonsky). The pair are particularly nasty to Tracy, though she doesn't let the von Tussles' evil ways keep her from dancing.
