Zach Braff

Long loved for his portrayal of J.D. on the sitcom "Scrubs," Zach Braff (far right) took a seat in the director's chair for the 2004 indie hit "Garden State," which he also directed. Filmed in Braff's homeland of New Jersey, "Garden State" stars Natalie Portman and Peter Sarsgaard alongside Braff.
