'Almost Famous'

'Almost Famous'

(2000)

While covering the band Stillwater for Rolling Stone, the young journalist William Miller (Patrick Fugit, center) calls home to check in with his mother. His mother, played by Frances McDormand, tells him she loves him, but William can't hear her, while a friend of Penny Lane (Kate Hudson, right) tells him he has a purple aura. Later, Russell (Billy Crudup, left) takes the phone and is scolded by William's mother. The fazed Russell then gets electrocuted on stage.
