Movies with mismatched siblings
In Charlie Kaufman's creative 2002 film "Adaptation," the screenwriter turns the film into a story about his struggle to translate a non-fiction book to the big screen. In the process, his character grudgingly requests help from his free-spirited, directionless twin brother Donald (right, also played by Nicolas Cage). The film was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay for Charlie and Donald Kaufman. Interestingly (but not surprisingly), Donald doesn't really exist.
