It Might Get Loud

Davis Guggenheim, director of ‘‘An Inconvenient Truth,’’ tackles the marginally less apocalyptic subject of the electric guitar in rock ’n’ roll. The film deals in art, rhythm, pop history, and has enough shredding to make your ears bleed, courtesy of three storied axmen: Jimmy Page, the Edge, and Jack White.
