Sid and Marty Kroft’s Saturday-morning prehistoric adventure series-cult item was great for its surreal sets and cheesy effects. This movie appears to be just the opposite: expensively lifelike. With Will Ferrell as an archeologist sucked into a wormhole along with a redneck survivalist (Danny McBride).
